Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations while delivering top-quality service to clients. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and appliances in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and construction plans Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and carpentry skills to complete installations efficiently and safely Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with building codes Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and ensure project specifications are met on time Adhere strictly to safety regulations including OSHA standards and local building codes during all phases of work Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for pipe installation, remodeling projects, or system upgrades Skills Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction plumbing practices Proficiency in welding techniques applicable to plumbing systems Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, and safety regulations governing plumbing work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and mechanical diagrams accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other mechanical tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), HVAC systems, gas piping systems, and commercial plumbing projects Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations Familiarity with construction plans for remodeling or renovation projects; experience in carpentry is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for site transportation needs; handyman experience or field service background is advantageous Join us as a Journeyman Plumber if you're passionate about delivering reliable plumbing solutions that meet the highest standards!
