Chud Cooling Heating Plumbing & Electric is a family-owned and veteran-owned home services company that has proudly served our community since 1970 . For 56 years, we've worked to build a company known for quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and taking care of our people. Now, we're entering an exciting new chapter: we're growing our plumbing department. We're looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber who wants more than just another plumbing job. You'll be joining a new and growing department , working alongside our plumbing leadership and helping us establish the reputation, standards, and customer experience that will define Chud Plumbing for years to come. What You'll Be Doing As a Journeyman Plumber, you'll handle a variety of residential plumbing service, repair, and installation work, including: Diagnosing residential plumbing problems and providing appropriate solutions Plumbing service, repair, and replacement Water heater repair and installation Fixture, faucet, toilet, and garbage disposal replacement Leak detection and repair Drain and water line repairs Plumbing system upgrades and installations Performing plumbing inspections and identifying potential concerns Providing customers with clear explanations and professional recommendations Maintaining accurate job documentation Keeping your work area and company vehicle clean, organized, and professional Working closely with dispatch, customer service, and department leadership Helping establish processes and standards as our plumbing department continues to grow This Is More Than Just Another Plumbing Position Because our plumbing division is new, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the department from the beginning . Who We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced plumbing professional who: Has strong residential plumbing service and installation experience Possesses Journeyman-level plumbing knowledge and skills Has excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Understands plumbing codes and proper installation practices Takes pride in clean, professional workmanship Has strong attention to detail Is dependable, organized, and self-motivated Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers Is comfortable educating customers and presenting repair or replacement options Takes ownership of jobs from start to finish Works well as part of a team Wants to continue learning and improving Is interested in being part of a growing department and company Home service experience is strongly preferred.
