Job Description
Plumber Pilewski Plumbing and Heating is looking for an experienced, dependable Plumber to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing residential and light commercial plumbing systems while providing professional, reliable service to our customers. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install plumbing systems and fixtures Repair and replace water lines, drain lines, sewer lines, faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, and other plumbing fixtures Install and service water heaters, including standard tank and tankless systems Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and drainage issues Perform drain cleaning and sewer-related service work Install and repair pumps, valves, backflow devices, and related plumbing components Perform plumbing work for remodels, renovations, and new installations Test plumbing systems and equipment to ensure proper operation Identify plumbing issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacement options Explain repairs and recommendations clearly to customers Complete service documentation and job-related paperwork accurately Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures Assist other technicians and team members as needed Perform other plumbing-related duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a Plumber, Plumbing Technician, Service Plumber, or similar position Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing systems Experience diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues independently Knowledge of water supply, drainage, waste, and vent systems Experience with water heaters, fixtures, piping, valves, and related equipment Drain cleaning experience preferred Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to safely use plumbing tools and equipment Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Ability to work in basements, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environments Ability to lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment associated with plumbing work Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable attendance and punctuality Plumbing license or applicable certifications preferred Backflow certification is a plus Additional plumbing-related certifications are a plus About Pilewski Pilewski is a local, growing plumbing and HVAC company focused on dependable workmanship and professional customer service. Pay:
