We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drain Installer to join our team. The Drain Installer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the field, a strong understanding of drainage system components, and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Drain Installer Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems, including stormwater systems, sewer systems, and surface water drainage. Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications to determine drainage system requirements. Excavate and prepare sites for drainage installation using tools, machinery, and equipment. Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and other components of the drainage system. Ensure systems are installed with proper slope, alignment, and sealing to prevent blockages and leaks. Perform testing and inspections to confirm proper installation and functionality. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and codes. Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to coordinate project progress. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
Drain Installer Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Drain Installer, Plumber, or similar role. Strong knowledge of drainage systems, pipe materials, and installation techniques. Proficiency with tools and equipment used in excavation and pipe installation. Ability to read technical drawings and understand specifications. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if applicable).
