We are a family-owned, full-service plumbing and drain cleaning company serving Bucks County and the surrounding areas. This is not an entry-level position . We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of hands-on residential plumbing service and drain cleaning experience who is comfortable working independently, diagnosing problems, communicating with homeowners, presenting repair options, and completing approved work. What You'll Be Doing As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will run residential service calls from diagnosis through completion.
You will be expected to:
Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing and drain issues Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations Perform drain cleaning and basic sewer/drain diagnostics Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to customers Present repair and replacement options and upfront pricing Help customers make informed decisions without high-pressure sales tactics Complete approved repairs professionally and efficiently Identify additional plumbing concerns and opportunities while in the home Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Properly document each service call, including notes and photos Collect payment and properly close out completed jobs Maintain and care for company-provided vehicles and equipment Represent NexGen professionally in customers' homes and in the community
What We're Looking For Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of plumbing service and drain cleaning experience Ability to independently diagnose and repair common residential plumbing problems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience communicating directly with homeowners Ability and willingness to present options and pricing to customers Strong customer service and sales skills Professional appearance and communication Comfortable using smartphones, email, invoicing/service software, and digital documentation Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to work a flexible service schedule when necessary Basic plumbing hand tools Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision The Right Person for NexGen We're looking for more than someone who can turn a wrench.
