The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and building codes, ensuring the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that demand technical expertise, safety compliance, and excellent customer service. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering high-quality plumbing solutions that meet all regulatory standards and client expectations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and project specifications. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise pipe layouts. Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools to ensure secure connections. Work with gas piping systems, HVAC components, and other mechanical systems as required on various projects. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation and longevity. Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of installation and repair work. Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and clients to coordinate project timelines and resolve technical issues efficiently. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large pipes or materials on construction sites. Support remodeling projects by installing new fixtures or upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by communicating effectively with clients regarding work progress or issues. Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair. Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications. Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other relevant equipment. Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks across various settings. Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. This position is essential for ensuring the integrity of plumbing systems across multiple project types.
