Overview:
We are looking for a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multifamily buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly. Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure their longevity and efficiency. Use hand tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment to complete plumbing projects. Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations.
Prerequisites:
Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role Proficient in using hand tools and specialized plumbing equipment. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic understanding of electrical systems Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, etc. Pre-Prerequisites (these are the most important items): Positive attitude. Relentless problem-solving skills. Will never claim the work of others as their own. We are trend setters and standards breakers.
