We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the technical expertise necessary to handle various plumbing tasks. This Journeyman Plumber position involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading and assembly for different types of piping materials. Conduct heavy lifting as required for installation and repair tasks. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Provide basic carpentry work as needed during remodeling projects. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must posses a valid driver's license. Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety practices. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC installations. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work. Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory. Previous maintenance person experience or skills in assembly and remodeling is advantageous.

Pay rate:

$30 to $40 / hour, based on experience.

Schedule:
