We are seeking a Plumber Helper. In this role, you will assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in construction plumbing, mechanical knowledge, and safety protocols. The Plumber Helper position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to essential building projects. Responsibilities Assist licensed plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Support the reading and interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation. Handle hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Help with pipe installation, cutting, fitting, and assembly according to building codes and project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, power tool safety, and site hazards. Assist in troubleshooting plumbing issues and performing routine maintenance or repairs on existing systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality. Follow all safety procedures and regulations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others. Support remodeling projects by assisting with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations. Participate in field service activities that require interpreting technical schematics and executing precise plumbing tasks. Experience Previous experience in construction or plumbing-related roles is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with construction site safety standards, building code compliance, and blueprint reading is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, and pipe installation techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills are necessary for measurements, calculations, and interpreting schematics. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to plumbing maintenance and repair enhances job performance. MUST be able to pass a background check. MUST be able to pass a drug test. MUST have a valid driver's license.
Pay rate:
$18 to $25 an hour, based on experience.
Schedule:
