Overview Join our team as a Plumber Technician and help deliver honest, top-quality plumbing service to homeowners across Charleston, Summerville, Mount Pleasant, and the surrounding Lowcountry. In this hands-on role, you'll install, maintain, and repair residential plumbing systems, ensuring safety and compliance with local building codes on every job. As a locally owned, veteran-owned company built on showing up when we say we will and telling the truth about what's wrong, you'll help us deliver reliable water systems, efficient drainage, and dependable plumbing that homeowners can trust — no upsells, no scare tactics. We're looking for motivated professionals eager to grow their skills and make a real impact in the communities we serve. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, water heaters, and fixtures, in customers' homes. Operate a company vehicle safely to transport tools, materials, and yourself to job sites across the tri-county service area. Use hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and pipe-fitting equipment to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently. Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and restore proper flow. Interpret manufacturer specs and basic system layouts to accurately install or modify residential plumbing to code. Support remodel and renovation work, including fixture upgrades, repipes, and plumbing tie-ins for existing homes. Follow local building codes and safety standards on every job, including any lifting or crawlspace/attic work a residential job requires. Communicate clearly and honestly with homeowners about diagnosis, pricing, and work progress — presenting our flat-rate pricing up front, with no surprise charges. Log job details accurately in our field service app (Housecall Pro) and request a review from every satisfied customer. Requirements Hands-on experience in residential plumbing service or repair (apprentice-level welcome; journeyman/master license a plus). Comfortable working independently inside occupied homes, with strong customer-facing communication skills. Working knowledge of residential water supply, drainage, and fixture systems; comfortable with copper, PEX, and standard drain-line materials. Familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras, drain-cleaning equipment, and standard hand/power tools. Understanding of local residential building and plumbing codes. Basic math skills for measurements, pricing, and job estimates. Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record; must pass a background check and E-Verify work-authorization check. Proactive problem-solver who can diagnose issues on-site without over-selling the fix.
