Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure is built to code, functioning efficiently, and meets project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your technical skills, and contribute to high-quality construction outcomes. Responsibilities Install, service, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, water heaters, and related components Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, pressure problems, fixture failures, etc.) Perform routine maintenance, such as clearing drains, inspecting water lines, testing fixtures, and replacing worn parts Handle punch list and turnover plumbing items for apartments, new builds, and property rehabs (e.g., faucet replacements, toilet repairs, drain fixes) Install and repair water supply, drainage, and gas lines (where applicable and certified) Test systems for proper operation, leaks, and code compliance Communicate clearly with property managers, clients, and team members about work performed and any recommendations Maintain accurate service records and report job status Use hand/power tools, pipe cutters, threading machines, drain snakes, and diagnostic equipment safely Adhere to all safety protocols, plumbing codes, and local regulations Experience 1-3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience (residential service preferred) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation to our Chattanooga service area Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Tennessee Limited Licensed Plumber (LLP) certification or ability to obtain one preferred (check local requirements for permitting) Experience with common residential plumbing repairs/installs (a plus)
