What You'll Do As a Plumbing Installer, you'll primarily handle plumbing installations in residential and commercial properties, along with planned maintenance and service calls when needed. You'll be responsible for: Installing, repairing, and replacing water supply lines, drain and waste systems, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping systems, gas piping, and related plumbing components Inspecting and testing plumbing and drain systems Troubleshooting plumbing and drain issues Making sure installations and repairs meet applicable plumbing codes and Travis Electrical Service standards Communicating with customers about the work you're performing and helping them understand their options Inspecting completed work to make sure the job was done right the first time Maintaining a clean, organized jobsite and service vehicle Keeping your truck properly stocked and ready for the day Following company safety practices on the job and while driving Participating in company training and team meetings Providing the kind of professional, respectful service that keeps customers coming back These responsibilities reflect the installation, customer-service, quality-control, and safety expectations of the position. Qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in the plumbing trade Strong knowledge of plumbing and drain installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated, dependable, and reliable Ability to work independently and as part of a team General knowledge of power tools and their safe use Understanding of current plumbing regulations Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Flexibility with work hours Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position Ability to meet the company's drug-testing requirements The Work Plumbing isn't a desk job, and we know that. This position involves working indoors and outdoors, climbing ladders, using power tools, working in tight spaces, and lifting and carrying materials and equipment. Some days may also require longer hours depending on the needs of our customers and the work scheduled. Why Travis?
