Day Through Night Plumbing is looking for a dependable Plumber's Helper to assist our lead plumber on service calls and plumbing jobs throughout Middle Tennessee. This is a helper/support position. You will not be expected to perform plumbing work independently. Your job is to be an extra set of hands for the plumber, help with tools and equipment, assist throughout the job, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Carry and hand tools, parts, and materials to the plumber
• Get tools and equipment from the truck or trailer as needed
• Help load, unload, set up, and break down equipment
• Connect, run, and handle hoses for the hydro jetter and other equipment
• Assist with setting up drain and sewer equipment
• Make occasional trips to plumbing supply stores for parts and materials
• Help move and position equipment on job sites
• Mop, sweep, and clean work areas during and after jobs
• Clean up water, dirt, and debris from plumbing work
• Wipe down and clean tools and equipment after use
• Help protect floors and surrounding areas while work is being performed
• Keep the truck, trailer, tools, and equipment organized
• Make sure the work area is left clean and presentable when the job is finished
• Provide general hands-on assistance wherever needed

Schedule:

This is an on-call position based on workload. The majority of our work is performed Monday through Friday. Weekends are normally off, although occasional weekend work may be needed when a job requires additional help.

Experience:

No plumbing experience is required. We're looking for someone dependable who shows up, works hard, follows directions, and is willing to be a reliable extra set of hands for our plumber.

Location:

Franklin, Tennessee, with work at job sites throughout Middle Tennessee.

$16.00 per hour
