Job Description
Building Services at The University of Tennessee at Martin is currently accepting applications for a Plumber I. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working on commercial and residential plumbing repairs, maintenance and new installation of the campus plumbing systems. Responding to emergency call backs nights, weekends, and holidays. Typically requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Plumbing experience or a state plumbing license Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and do material take offs for projects Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations Use of all power tools associated with the installation and repairs of plumbing systems Ability to communicate effectively and customer service skills High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license
