In this entry-level role, you will assist licensed plumbers with installing, maintaining, and repairing piping, fixtures, and water systems that support critical software and IT environments. Responsibilities include preparing tools and materials, supporting inspections and preventative maintenance, documenting work using digital tools, and following strict safety and quality standards. APS offers a collaborative, growth-oriented culture with opportunities to learn advanced plumbing and facilities skills. Responsibilities Assist licensed plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of piping and fixtures in tech facilities and data centers Prepare tools, materials, and work areas for plumbing projects Support basic troubleshooting of leaks, clogs, and water pressure issues under supervision Document work performed using digital tools and job-tracking software Follow safety protocols, building codes, and company quality standards Collaborate with facilities, IT, and project teams to minimize disruption to operations Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks Maintain inventory of plumbing supplies and organize equipment Required Skills Basic plumbing knowledge (pipes, fittings, fixtures) Use of hand and power tools Reading basic blueprints or diagrams Digital work-order and documentation tools Safety and PPE compliance Basic measurement and math skills Fixture and piping installation support Preventative maintenance basics Leak detection and basic troubleshooting support Time management and task prioritization
