Plumbing Technician Residential and Commercial (3 yrs exp req) (20% commission) Steady Flo Murfreesboro, TN Job Details Full-time $30 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Fuel card Company truck Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Residential building pipefitting projects Equipment repair High school diploma or GED Plumbing Water systems Fixture installation Time management Full Job Description Commission (20%) Plumbing Technician (3 yrs exp req) We're looking for an experienced plumber (5+ years preferred) to join our team. If you're comfortable running equipment, that's a big plus. This position includes an on-call rotation , currently one day a week and every fourth weekend . You'll handle a mix of work, including major sewer repairs, water line repairs, tank and tankless water heaters, rough-ins, and general plumbing service for both residential and commercial jobs. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED At least 3 years of plumbing experience (more experience is a plus) Clean driving record Solid understanding of plumbing systems and repairs Working knowledge of septic and sewer systems, including diagnostics and repairs Knowledge of current plumbing codes and regulations Experience with commercial plumbing is a plus Good time management and problem-solving skills Ability to drive company vehicles to job sites Comfortable communicating with customers and working with a team What You'll Be Doing Install and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures (toilets, sinks), and appliances like water heaters and disposals Troubleshoot issues such as leaks, clogs, corrosion, and system problems Perform rough-ins for residential and commercial projects Complete commercial plumbing work, including service, repairs, and new installations Perform routine maintenance like drain cleaning, jetting, and backflow repairs Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and local plumbing codes Explain repairs and options to customers in a clear, friendly way Keep daily notes on service calls, parts used, and time worked
