Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and gas piping in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks on existing plumbing systems to ensure ongoing functionality. Conduct system inspections to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or code violations; perform necessary repairs or replacements promptly. Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality service while maintaining excellent customer relations. Follow construction site safety protocols diligently while managing heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces as required. Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise plumbing layouts. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and gas piping systems. Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing systems and adherence to safety regulations at all times. Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), remodeling projects, and general handyman tasks. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations. Strong customer service skills with a professional approach when interacting with clients or team members.
