Journeyman Plumber - Commercial New Construction Experienced Journeyman Plumber looking for steady local work and a company where you can build a career? S&S Plumbing is looking for an experienced TSBPE-licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our Commercial New Construction team. We have a strong workload and are looking for a dependable, hands-on plumber we can trust to take ownership of a job, work independently with an apprentice, and get the work done right. This is a great opportunity for a Journeyman who takes pride in the trade, understands plumbing codes, works well with general contractors and other trades, and is ready to be an important part of a company that has been going strong for 20 years. What We're Looking For The right candidate should: Hold a current TSBPE Journeyman Plumber license Have commercial new construction plumbing experience Be experienced in all phases of construction — underground/rough-in, top-out and final Be able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects Be comfortable working alongside and providing direction to an apprentice plumber Be a hands-on Journeyman who works the job while leading by example Understand and follow applicable plumbing codes Read and work from construction plans and specifications Coordinate professionally with general contractors, superintendents and other trades Take responsibility for quality workmanship and correcting issues when they arise Have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation Be dependable, safety-conscious and ready to work Be able to pass required pre-employment screening, including a drug test Bobcat/skid-steer operating experience is strongly preferred.
