Eden, TX Overview We are seeking an experienced, reliable Plumber to join our facilities team on a full-time, in-house basis. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently. This is a contract position with strong potential to extend based on performance and facility needs. Responsibilities Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, drains, and water heaters Diagnose and resolve leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues in a timely manner Install and repair plumbing fixtures, water supply lines, and waste/drain systems Respond promptly to plumbing-related work orders and emergencies Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts/materials used Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and facility policies Coordinate with facilities management on preventive maintenance schedules Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition Order parts and supplies as needed within budget guidelines Qualifications Proven experience as a plumber in a commercial, industrial, or institutional setting Working knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and safety standards Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license (if applicable) Must be able to pass a background check and any required facility security clearance Preferred Qualifications Journeyman or Master Plumber license Experience working in a secure or restricted-access facility Familiarity with backflow prevention systems and commercial water heaters Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
