Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Service Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems across residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing operations adhere to all local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and appliances in accordance with construction plans and schematics. Read blueprints and construction plans accurately to ensure precise pipe installation and system setup. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, ensuring building code compliance at all times. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and efficiently to complete projects. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing system failures or leaks using schematics and technical diagrams. Adhere strictly to safety regulations during all phases of construction site work, including heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers to coordinate work schedules and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Valid license as a Service Plumber with proven experience inservice plumbing projects. Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building regulations, and safety standards. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other relevant tools of the trade. Strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems including gas piping systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks regularly. Prior experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), remodeling projects, or handyman work is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations. Proven track record working on construction sites with a focus on safety regulations compliance.
