Schedule:
Hourly position - Office hours are primarily weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., but responsibilities may occasionally require additional hours and flexibility that can include evenings and weekends. Rotation of on-call duties will be required.
Reports To:
Associate Director for Facilities Services The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of one so classified. Supervise students or helpers as needed. Duties will be assigned by the Associate Director for Facilities Services and will include the following. Perform all plumbing related tasks including, but not limited to, repairs, maintenance, cleaning, or construction of existing or new equipment on facilities as assigned. Working in inclement weather conditions. Reading prints, locating utilities Pipeline patrols, inspection and repair of systems Mechanical system repairs and replacements Provide customer communication regarding work order request Perform other duties as assigned Will be on the afterhours on-call rotation. On-call/Call-out hours are primarily 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. weekdays and 24-hours on weekends and holidays. Plumbing experience (3-5 years minimum) is required. Journeymen experience desired. Obtain, or ability to obtain through department training resources within 12 months, Pipeline Patrol certifications. High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be age 18 or older.
