Our primary focus is residential service and repair, plumbing diagnostics, water heaters, drain service, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and whole-home water treatment. Position Overview We are seeking a current Texas Tradesman Plumber or Journeyman Plumber to join our service team. This is a hands-on service position involving troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and direct interaction with residential customers. The selected plumber will initially work alongside an apprentice/helper and will be responsible for completing scheduled service calls while maintaining our standards for workmanship, communication, cleanliness, and customer care. This is not a new-construction position. Applicants should be comfortable diagnosing problems, explaining repair options to homeowners, completing repairs professionally, and documenting the work performed. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose residential plumbing problems and recommend appropriate solutions Complete plumbing service and repair work Repair and replace fixtures, faucets, toilets, valves, disposals, and piping Diagnose and service water heaters Perform drain cleaning and basic drain diagnostics Install and service water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and water treatment equipment Clearly explain findings and repair options to customers Work effectively with an assigned apprentice/helper Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and service vehicle Accurately document work, materials, photos, and customer communications Follow applicable plumbing codes and company standards Treat customers, coworkers, and customers' property with professionalism and respect Required Qualifications Current Texas Tradesman Plumber or Journeyman Plumber license Valid driver's license Acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to pass a background check Ability to safely perform the physical duties of a service plumber Professional appearance and good communication skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work well with customers, coworkers, and an apprentice/helper Preferred Qualifications Residential service and repair experience Strong plumbing diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with water heaters Drain-cleaning experience Water softener, reverse osmosis, or other water treatment experience Experience using service-management software or documenting work electronically Water treatment experience is helpful but not required for an otherwise qualified plumber who is willing to learn. Compensation Tradesman Plumber:
