Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. This vital role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing gas lines for generators on commercial and residential projects. Your hands-on experience with various tools and techniques will drive successful project completion while supporting our commitment to excellence and safety on every site. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects across commercial and residential sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble piping systems efficiently. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites. Conduct system inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency. Collaborate with other trades such as Electrician technicians to coordinate installation processes. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for documentation purposes. Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and site work. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings with precision. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards. Handyman experience or background in remodeling or maintenance work is advantageous.
