The Drain Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving residential drain and sewer issues through drain cleaning, hydro jetting, cabling, and sewer camera inspections. Pay Structure:
Hourly, $22.00-$30.00 + Commissions Average yearly compensation: $68,000-$80,000
Role Responsibilities:
Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to residential and light commercial service calls. Identify potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks. Explain the features and benefits of each solution. Obtain agreement for services before performing work and collecting payment. Build rapport and describe diagnosed problems to customers and provide solutions. Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels. Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers. Wear all applicable Personal Protective gear while operating in a safe manner. Participation in required staff meetings and training.
Required Experience:
3 or more years' experience using hydro jets, electric snakes, and/or sewer cameras
Preferred Experience:
Intermediate knowledge/use of industry standard software (I.E Service Titan, or other related systems)
