Job Description

We don't do in-home sales. That's the pitch. If you install water treatment now, you know the routine: the free test, the kitchen table, the price that drops three times before you reach the door. If you're worn out on it, keep reading. Honest Water Co is a family-owned water treatment company in St. George. We install whole-home softeners, carbon filtration, and reverse osmosis systems across Washington County, and we've built more than 100 five-star reviews doing it. The job Because we sell over the phone, install day is the only day we're ever inside a customer's home, and you're the only person from this company they'll ever meet. Whatever they think of us a year from now, they'll think it because of your work and how you carried yourself in their house. That's real trust to hand one person. It's also the job.
The work itself is repeatable:
whole-home softeners and carbon filtration tied into the main on a bypass loop, a drain line, a brine line, an outlet, and under-sink RO. Pressure test, check the bypass, clean up, haul out the packaging, walk the homeowner through their system. Two or three installs a day. Every install has a checklist in HouseCall Pro on your phone, with photos at each stage and a review asked for in person before you leave. Expect structure and documentation, not just wrenching. Two checklist items touch money, so we'll be straight about them: if a customer doesn't have an RO, you mention that we offer one, and the service plan goes on the invoice and you explain what it covers. Once, either way, and "no thanks" is a complete answer. Neither one is commissioned. Hours Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 4:30, scheduled in advance so you know your day the night before. No nights, no weekends, no on-call, no emergency calls, no drain cleaning. Pay $28-$32 an hour depending on experience.
All base:
no commission, no draw, no chargebacks, the same every two weeks whether or not anyone buys anything. Prior water treatment experience starts at the top of the range. Mileage reimbursed. What we need A truck or van that can carry a softener and brine tank, and a clean driving record Competent with copper, PEX, push-fit, shutoffs, and pressure testing Able to handle 80-150 lb tanks into garages, crawlspaces, and utility closets, including a St. George garage in July Presentable and calm with homeowners, and easy to have in someone's house Comfortable running schedules, invoices, and photo checklists on a phone No plumbing license required. We hold a Utah S410 contractor license that covers this work, and you'd work under it as an employee. If you hold a journeyman, residential journeyman, or apprentice card, it's worth money to us. It just isn't a requirement. Worth more money Installs at Culligan, Kinetico, EcoWater, RainSoft, or similar. You'd need almost no training from us. Drain and brine line experience, air gap and backflow awareness RO at the sink, especially tankless units Well water: AIO, peroxide injection
Apprentices:
if you're a plumbing or HVAC apprentice who wants a narrower trade with a fixed schedule and predictable hours, say so in your application. We'll train you.
Pay:
$29.42 - $31.80 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): How many water softener, whole-home filtration, or reverse osmosis systems have you installed, and roughly how many in the last two years? Do you have a truck or van that can carry a softener and brine tank, and a clean driving record?
