What You'll Do As a Senior Plumbing Technician, you'll be trusted to independently manage service calls while delivering the level of craftsmanship and customer experience that represents Pioneer Plumbers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Diagnose residential plumbing problems accurately and efficiently Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, installations, and maintenance Diagnose and repair water supply, drain, waste, and vent systems Install, repair, and service traditional and tankless water heaters Perform leak detection and pipe repairs Diagnose and resolve drain and sewer issues Repair and install toilets, faucets, fixtures, disposals, valves, pumps, and related plumbing equipment Perform repipes, water service work, sewer repairs, and other larger plumbing projects based on experience Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to homeowners Present customers with professional repair and replacement options without high-pressure sales tactics Complete work safely, cleanly, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes Maintain accurate job notes, documentation, and communication Protect customers' homes and leave work areas clean Troubleshoot complex plumbing problems Assist and mentor less-experienced technicians when needed Represent Pioneer Plumbers professionally on every call Who We're Looking For This is a senior-level position for someone who already understands the trade and can be trusted with significant responsibility in the field.

The ideal candidate has:

5+ years of professional plumbing experience preferred Strong residential service plumbing experience Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Broad knowledge of residential plumbing systems and equipment Ability to manage a service call independently from diagnosis through completion Strong understanding of plumbing codes, materials, installation practices, and repair methods Confidence communicating technical issues and repair options to homeowners High standards for workmanship and attention to detail Strong customer-service and communication skills Professional appearance and attitude A strong sense of personal accountability Ability to work independently while also contributing to the team Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Applicable Virginia plumbing license or certifications where required Experience with tankless water heaters, drain and sewer diagnostics, camera inspections, repiping, water service replacements, remodel plumbing, and larger residential projects is a major plus.
