Plumbing Helper - Ground-Up Data Center Construction Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring Plumbing Helpers for a major ground-up data center construction project in Richmond, VA .

Richmond, VA For You This is a great opportunity for a dependable plumbing helper or plumbing hand who wants to build experience on a large-scale commercial construction project. You'll work alongside experienced plumbers and mechanics installing plumbing systems from rough-in through completion in a complex new construction environment. What You Will Do Assist plumbers with commercial plumbing installation on a ground-up data center project. Support underground, in-wall, overhead, and equipment-room piping installation. Measure, cut, fit, and install pipe and fittings. Work with materials including PVC, CPVC, copper, steel, and cast iron . Assist with pipe threading, grooved and threaded connections, soldering, brazing, and other approved joining methods. Install and support piping, hangers, sleeves, valves, drains, fixtures, and related plumbing components. Assist with domestic water, sanitary, storm, and equipment drainage systems. Read basic construction drawings, layouts, and measurements. Assist with pressure testing, flushing, inspections, and leak testing. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all site safety requirements. What We Are Seeking Previous experience as a Plumbing Helper, Plumber Helper, Plumbing Hand, or similar construction role . Commercial plumbing or construction experience preferred. Ground-up new construction experience strongly preferred. Experience with PVC pipe, pipe installation, fittings, and plumbing hand tools . Ability to read basic drawings and work from measurements and layouts. Comfortable using common plumbing hand and power tools. Basic construction math and measurement skills. Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow OSHA and project-specific requirements . Dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively with plumbers, foremen, and other trades. Ability to perform the physical demands of commercial construction. Reliable transportation to and from the project. Why Join Kodiak?
