A Plumber installs and repairs water pipes, including drainage pipes, in homes or larger buildings. Installs plumbing fixtures or appliances that use gas, and fixes plumbing problems such as clogged pipes.

Install and maintain related equipment such as: pumps, valves, boilers, hot water tanks, heaters, food service equipment, expansion joints, and fixtures. This position is designated as essential/emergency personnel. Required Qualifications A good working knowledge of plumbing and steam systems. Valid Virginia driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Installation and/or maintenance of all plumbing related utilities; such as: water, sewer, storm drain, fire main, steam, condensate, gas lines, air lines. Experience with installation and/or maintenance of: pumps, valves, boilers, hot water tanks, heaters, food service equipment, expansion joints and fixtures. Possession of or ability to obtain a DPOR Journeyman's or Master's level Plumbing license.
