Richmond, VA Job Overview Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring Journeyman and Foreman Plumbers for a long-term commercial data center project in Richmond, Virginia. This 12+ month project offers steady work, up to 60 hours per week, and competitive pay, with $120/day per diem for qualified travelers. Local and traveling candidates are encouraged to apply, with immediate openings available. What You'll Do Install, assemble, and support copper ProPress and PVC piping systems Make ProPress connections on copper piping Install water, gas, and drainage piping systems as required Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications Measure, cut, fit, and assemble piping accurately Complete pipe layout and fit-up to project requirements Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance Coordinate with crew members and supervision to keep the project on schedule Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Follow all site-specific safety requirements and procedures Journeyman Qualifications 3+ years of plumbing experience Experience with copper ProPress systems and PVC piping installation Commercial or industrial plumbing experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications independently Strong pipe layout, measuring, fitting, and fabrication skills Ability to safely and accurately use standard plumbing tools Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled overtime Foreman Qualifications All Journeyman qualifications, plus: 5+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience Experience leading a plumbing crew and managing daily productivity Strong communication with supervision, general contractors, and other trades Per Diem Eligibility To qualify for per diem, travelers must: Maintain a permanent residence more than 60 miles from the jobsite Work the full scheduled shift each day Why Kodiak Long-term project stability with 12+ months of work Overtime opportunities with up to 60 hours per week $120/day per diem for qualified travelers Immediate openings with a fast hiring process
