The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing services, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires expertise in handling various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local codes. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Perform field service tasks to address plumbing issues at client locations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing projects. Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and designs. Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of plumbing systems. Execute tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs. Lift heavy materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications Active Plumbing license Proven experience as a plumber or in a related field service role. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work. Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as required by job duties. Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
