Technicians:
Are natural problem solvers Are mechanically inclined Enjoy working with their hands Show passion and perseverance through their work Hydraulic and industrial hose experience is NOT required! Each Hose Assembly & Installation Technician is provided complete training on industry knowledge, PIRTEK processes, safety standards, and how to operate your purpose-built mobile service unit. PIRTEK also provides support through a 24/7 hotline for Technicians to ask technical questions. Job Description Responsibilities Adhere to all industry and PIRTEK safety standards Carry out service calls & sales visits in your local area Identify faulty hoses and/ or hose assemblies to service the customers' needs Remove worn or broken hoses before fabricating and installing the new replacement Ensure oil spills/ environmental contaminants, due to hose failure and/ or repair, are cleaned or contained to the customer's satisfaction (as well as federal, state, and local regulations) Input service details into the online database to create accurate invoices Develop relationships with new and existing customers Maintain mobile service unit, tools, and equipment Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on-site and conducting frequent follow-up visits Participate in the rotating On-Call schedule (with increased incentive pay) Perform other related duties as assigned Work Environment You will be operating out of a PIRTEK a purpose-built mobile service unit- a workshop-van that is outfitted with all the tools and machinery needed to successfully service your local area.
- consistent use of hand tools & specialized equipment is required Good communication skills (verbal and written) Self-motivated & positive attitude through difficult jobs Able to work individually and as a team Lift up to 50 pounds Can safely & lawfully drive a large work van Qualifications High School diploma or GED Driver's License with clean driving record Experience in industrial development & construction, automobile/ marine/ field mechanics, or a related industry is a plus Ability to pass a background check
