Job Description

Journeyman Plumber Water Doctors has been helping Wisconsin homeowners and businesses enjoy better water for over 40 years. We focus on high quality water treatment systems and support our field team with strong systems, organized scheduling, and real backing from the office. We are not a high pressure, sales first plumbing company. We focus on doing the job right and building long term relationships. We are looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumber who wants steady, straightforward work without the typical chaos of emergency plumbing, drain calls, or unpredictable after hours work. This role focuses on installing and servicing water treatment equipment, water heaters, and related plumbing in both residential and light commercial settings. This is a specialized plumbing role focused on water quality systems. You will work on a variety of applications, including troubleshooting, system adjustments, and both residential and light commercial jobs. You will build expertise in water treatment systems, a growing and in demand specialty within the plumbing industry. What You Will Do Install, service, and troubleshoot water softeners, filtration systems, and water heaters Handle plumbing related to water treatment systems Work with a team that keeps jobs organized and prepared ahead of time Communicate with customers in a professional, respectful way Complete clean, high quality work you can stand behind What Makes Someone Successful In This Role Licensed Journeyman Plumber (or equivalent, or ability to obtain within 90 days) Takes pride in clean, correct work Good communicator with customers and team Reliable and able to work independently Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working in residential environments Valid driver's license with clean record The Reality of This Job No on call No weekends No late night emergency runs No drain cleaning or high pressure service calls Consistent, year round work Pay and Benefits $28.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience, plus commission 401k with match Medical insurance Paid life insurance Paid holidays and vacation Bonuses and commission opportunities Fully stocked truck, company phone, and uniform allowance Paid training and ongoing development Monthly in office chiropractor visits Position Details Full time Monday through Friday In person This is a good fit for someone who wants consistent, high quality work and a predictable schedule.
