Job Description

Job Description Bethany College is seeking an experienced Plumber to be responsible for all aspects of maintaining the domestic and commercial properties owned by the College. The work hours of this position are primarily daylight turns, but may be subject to call-outs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining, replacing or repairing all domestic and commercial plumbing, including fixtures, tubs, showers, sinks, water and drain pipes. Assist in the installation and repair of underground water, gas sewer, and electric lines. Work with and supervise other College staff members while working on plumbing projects. Meet and work with contractors to supervise plumbing work. Monitor an indoor pool for maintenance, chemical balance, and temperature control. Be willing to assist other members of the Building and Grounds staff while maintaining the campus property.
Requirements:
Background check Valid Driver's License Physically able to perform plumbing duties Willing to work outside in various or extreme weather conditions Able to take call outs to work evenings or nights May be required to work on ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts and bucket trucks Supply own transportation, fuel, and tools (the College offers a gas allowance)
