Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet all safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems. Perform welding and pipe threading tasks with precision to ensure leak-proof connections. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems for functionality, safety, and code compliance; troubleshoot issues as they arise. Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation or repairs on construction sites. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems. We are a mechanical company and at times we help each other out as needed. Hydronic heat repair and install of new systems. Skills Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe installation, repair, and maintenance procedures. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings; ability to interpret technical instructions accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (wrenches, pipe cutters) and power tools (drills, saws) effectively on job sites. Knowledge of welding techniques relevant to pipework; familiarity with pipe threading equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing components and HVAC systems. Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work; familiarity with schematics for system troubleshooting. Valid driver's license CIPP lining and epoxy brush coating understanding and will train to perform this task.
