This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k! Pay is between $40 - $55 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, paint, package/prepare for shipment API centrifugal pumps as well as other related rotating equipment Assist with training and developing Pump Mechanic personnel to ensure efficient use of manpower and compliance with customer requirements Monitor progress of repairs and assign and guide shop personnel to complete those repairs Serve as one of the most experienced tradesman in the shop Set the positive leadership tone and behavior Interact with customers in a positive way Assist the Supervisor in the execution of all work
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required 10 + years of experience working in a pump repair shop facility with previous experience repairing API centrifugal pumps and other related rotating equipment prepared Experience repairing API/Engineered pumps, creating details, and making technical decisions In-depth understanding of API 610, and other applicable standards Ability to read pump sectional, machine drawings, and OEM pump manuals Disassembly, inspection, ability to write up a detailed rotating equipment report to all necessary repairs and or replacement parts needed Safely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of parts and equipment Ability to read and understand mechanical seal drawings, mechanical seal removal, installation, and pneumatic pressure testing preferred Ability to work with multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
