Keith Wayne Hydraulic Supply is looking for a Hydraulic Technician to join our team! We are a growing hydraulic supply and repair shop serving contractors, equipment operators, truck fleets, and industrial customers. We are looking for a dependable, mechanically skilled technician who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a professional team.

Responsibilities:

Build hydraulic hoses using a variety of hydraulic fittings and equipment Identify and properly match hydraulic fittings, hoses, adapters, and components Diagnose hydraulic system problems and assist customers with determining the correct parts and repairs Work with hydraulic cylinders, PTOs, valves, pumps, motors, and other hydraulic components Disassemble, inspect, and repair hydraulic components Read hydraulic diagrams and understand hydraulic system operation Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently Maintain accurate inventory and properly put away parts and fittings Keep the shop, work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized Provide professional, helpful service to customers Follow company procedures for safety, quality control, inventory, timekeeping, and customer service Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Qualifications:

1-5 years of hydraulic, heavy equipment, diesel, industrial, automotive, or related mechanical experience Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to identify different hydraulic hoses, fittings, and components Ability to use basic hand and shop tools Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to lift and handle heavy parts and equipment A strong candidate will also have experience with: Hydraulic troubleshooting Hydraulic cylinders PTO systems Pumps and motors Hydraulic valves JIC, ORB, SAE, NPT, and other hydraulic connections Heavy-duty truck and equipment hydraulics Reading hydraulic schematics We are looking for someone who wants to learn, takes ownership of their work, and cares about doing the job correctly the first time. This position is hands-on and fast-paced. You will work directly with customers and a variety of hydraulic equipment, so we need someone who is dependable, mechanically capable, professional, and willing to get their hands dirty.
