As a Pump Mechanic I at KSB SupremeServ by KSB GIW, Inc., you will assist with disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling pump components and related equipment in accordance with Service Center ISO procedures. This role is primarily based in the Service Center, with occasional opportunities to work at customer sites. You will work alongside experienced technicians, follow safety protocols, and learn industry best practices while supporting our commitment to quality and service.RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with disassembly and reassembly of pumps and mechanical assemblies under supervision. Clean and inspect pump parts, recording basic information as directed. Prepare parts and assemblies using solvents and approved cleaning methods. Support the set-up and operation of assembly tools and equipment. Learn to read and interpret basic engineering drawings or assembly instructions. Organize tools, parts, and workstations to maintain an efficient workflow. Practice safe lifting techniques and proper use of shop equipment. Assist with movement of materials within the facility as assigned. Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation. Support housekeeping and equipment maintenance activities. Follow all KSB GIW, Inc.'s safety procedures and policies. Report issues or non-conforming products to supervisors or Quality Control. Participate in on-the-job training and skill development. Undertake other duties assigned within your abilities.QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED required. Prior work or internship experience in a mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in mechanical work. Willingness to learn shop and assembly procedures. Ability to use common hand tools and basic measuring devices. Ability to read basic instructions in English and perform simple math. Team-oriented, with good communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and safety regulations. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Basic computer skills are a plus.Physical Requirements:
Frequently:
standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.Occasionally :
overhead work, climbing ladders or stairs, assisting with forklifts and cranes under supervision.Additional:
