- Pump Mechanic
- Bossier City, LA Master Pumps & Power, a SunSource company, has been an industry leader for over 45 years.
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild various pumps (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm) and related equipment (motors, compressors, valves).
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assemble and disassemble rotating equipment.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.
- Install and maintain pump systems. Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical :
Strong mechanical aptitude, pump/motor assembly, use of pressure gauges, flow meters, hydraulics.Experience :
Varies by level (e.g., assisting others for entry-level, fabrication for senior).Tools:
Ability to own and maintain personal tools.Soft Skills:
Problem-solving, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, client service.- Certifications (Optional) : OSHA safety training, relevant technical diplomas.
