Patient Navigator/Office Coordinator - Behavioral Health Be Part of Something New in Bossier City Louisiana Behavioral Health Outpatient Services, a collaborative partnership between Oceans Healthcare and Ochsner LSU Health, is excited to announce the opening of a new behavioral health outpatient clinic in Bossier City, Louisiana , with a targeted opening November 2026. We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and customer-focused Patient Navigator & Office Coordinator to join our growing team. Patient Navigator/Office Coordinator Responsibilities The Behavioral Health Patient Navigator/Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, referral sources, and community partners while supporting patient access and engagement in outpatient behavioral health services. This role combines front office operations with patient navigation responsibilities to create a seamless experience from the initial phone call through treatment enrollment and ongoing participation in care. The Navigator assists with scheduling, patient registration, referral coordination, intake documentation, follow-up outreach, and communication with patients, families, and clinical staff. This position plays a critical role in promoting access to care, improving patient satisfaction, and supporting the growth of outpatient behavioral health services. Patient Navigator/Office Coordinator Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Associate or bachelor's degree in human services, Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or related field highly preferred. One year of customer service, administrative support, healthcare office, or reception experience. Knowledge of behavioral health services and community resources preferred. Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, admissions, patient access, medical reception, or care coordination. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
