Job Description

Overview The Rod Pump Technician will be responsible for assisting the Rod Pump Operations manager. This person will be responsible for assembly, repair and delivery of rod pumps. They will prepare reports and enter data intro pump tracking software. The Rod Pump Technician will be responsible for keeping the pump shop clean and orderly. They will also assist in ordering inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records. They must be willing to further their knowledge of rod pump failure identification and analysis. Future growth possibilities within the product line as person develops. Duties
  • Follow company processes and ensure competencies are implemented
  • Follow strict rod pump care and handling practices and procedures
  • Assist forklift operator for loading and unloading materials
  • Operate forklift or for loading and unloading materials
  • Receive orders as they are placed by the customer
  • Maintain shop cleanliness
  • Increase product knowledge (both externally and internally) through collaboration with Rod Pump Operations Manager and Rod Pump Technical Manager
  • Operate company vehicle with trailer to make deliveries Qualifications

Accountability Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical Requirements:
This position requires the physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis in a shop environment. Employees must be able to frequently bend, reach, twist, and stand for extended periods while handling pumps and related equipment. These are essential functions of the position. Qualified applicants must be able to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with applicable law.

This role is performed in shop environment with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, noise, dust, grease, and varying temperatures. $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
