Collection System O&M
• CDL Class B
•
NJDEP C1
License Support wastewater collection system operations and maintenance. This role is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience while working toward state operator certification.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.96 per hour
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GEDValid Class B Commercial Driver's License (required at hire)Ability to obtain
NJDEP C1
Operator's License within 2 years of hireAvailability for on-call rotation
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of collection system tools, equipment, and repair materialsPrevious experience in water/wastewater treatment, operations, or collectionsOSHA training (Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist Collections Operator with sewer cleaning, clearing, rodding, and repairsClean bar screen facilities throughout the collection systemSupport weekly preventive maintenance on equipmentMaintain records using CMMS, Word, and ExcelRead and interpret sewer maps, construction plans, and O&M manualsDiagnose simple collection system problemsPerform Activity Hazard Analysis and Pre-Task PlanningPerform other duties as required #Wastewater #CollectionsOperator #UtilitiesJobs #NowHiring #CDL #SkilledTrades
