Job Summary:
The Lease Operator is responsible for maintaining the flow of the wells at various well pad locations.
Essential Functions:
1. Check flow rates and pressures to verify optimal production. 2. Check wellheads, GPUs and auxiliary equipment for signs of leaks. 3. Check transducer readings and report any erroneous readings. 4. Dump sand traps and note well specific sand volumes (light, medium, or heavy). 5. Inspect tank batteries for signs of leaks. 6. Check tank levels and ensure tank loadout is functioning properly. 7. Check containment and call to have remediated if necessary. 8. Grease plug vales at the required intervals. 9. If the pad is equipped with chemical injection check tote levels and pump rates to ensure they are operating as intended. 10. Complete shift summaries during and at the end of each shift. 11. Driving designated routes according to customer requirements. 12. Become familiar with or learn customer programs as specified. 13. Complete field operations in accordance with ROC Service Company EHS policies and procedures. 14. Become familiar with general oil and gas construction and maintenance. 15. Maintain good interpersonal and customer relationships. 16. Become familiar with hand tools required for general construction and general maintenance jobs. 17. Make certain that all required personal protective equipment is being used. 18. Ensure all JSEA's are completed at the beginning of each shift change out and that a JSEA will be completed when the job scope changes. 19. Ensure that all procedures are followed to avoid accidents, damage to equipment, and harm to the environment or any other personnel. 20. Immediately report all incidents to the EHS group. 21. Perform any other labor functions as directed.
Basic Qualifications/Educational/Experience Requirements:
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle if necessary. Strong computer/technology skills. Willingness to learn customer portals and technology requirements. Confined space certification if necessary (training will be provided). Preferred experience in gas processing facility work, production facility work, or manufacturing environment. Willingness to adapt and be a team player in various environments and situations (service environment). Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and work well in a fast paced, evolving organization. Willing/able to work in all weather conditions. Self-motivated and able to remain productive without immediate supervision present.
