Job Description

Cornell Pump Company is a prominent leader in the centrifugal pump industry with over 75 years of experience and continuous growth. Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining. We are seeking a Pump Technician Specialist in Rock Hill, South Carolina where you will be responsible for assembling a variety of routine pump assemblies and sub-assemblies, with a primary focus on finish assembly with a "white glove" approach. You will also receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
Hourly Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 (DOE)

Rock Hill, South Carolina What You'll Do:
Assemble and test pump units to specification; perform precision fitting and machining. Install mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components; cut and fit pipe/tubing. Handle material movement, order picking/packing, loading/unloading, and inventory transactions. Prep and coat parts (paint/epoxy/etc.) and maintain coating equipment. Build and secure crates for finished products; prepare, inspect, and label shipments. Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and lifting equipment. Experience:
Mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience are required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
