  • $35.00/hr. Schedule is Monday

The Role We are seeking an independent proactive Field Technician/ Pump Mechanic to build, install, troubleshoot, and repair horizontal pump systems and rotating equipment. This position splits time between our local fabrication shop and active field sites. Key Responsibilities Assemble, service, and repair multi-stage horizontal thrust chambers, centrifugal pumps, and positive displacement pumps. Independently diagnose mechanical failures (seals, bearings, gearboxes, couplings) and execute repairs. Perform precision laser shaft alignments on pump-to-motor assemblies. Handle field service calls and shop fabrication projects with minimal supervision.
Qualifications Experience:
3+ years as a field tech servicing Horizontal Pump Systems (HPS), thrust chambers, or related industrial rotating equipment.
Autonomy:
Proven background as a field tech or mechanic making independent, critical repair decisions.
Self-Motivation:
Ability to work efficiently, take complete ownership of tasks, and operate proficiently and independently.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical seals, laser alignment tools, and precision measurement.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
