Job Description

Overview HomeField North Texas is seeking a reliable and hardworking Septic Pump Truck Operator to service residential and commercial septic systems. This position involves operating vacuum pump trucks, locating tanks, pumping and cleaning septic systems, inspecting components, and interacting professionally with customers. This is a hands-on, outdoor job requiring mechanical ability, problem solving, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. No prior septic experience required — we will train the right person. Duties Drive and operate vacuum pump truck safely Locate and expose septic tanks and lids (digging may be required) Pump and clean septic tanks and holding tanks Inspect tanks, baffles, risers, and drainfield conditions Identify problems and communicate findings to customers Complete service reports and documentation Maintain hoses, pumps, tools, and equipment Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations Maintain clean and professional job sites Provide excellent customer service Pump truck cleaning and preventative maintenance Hose washing and equipment sanitation Shop organization and maintenance Provide exceptional customer service by explaining work processes clearly and addressing client questions professionally Skills Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain•not required) Clean driving record Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, mud, and odors Mechanical aptitude Dependable and punctual Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, 75+ lbs, and operate commercial driving vehicles responsibly Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration

PM Saturday:
8:00 AM•12:00 PM 35-40 hours weekly Overtime available Emergency service calls may arise outside normal operating hours We're looking for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills, commercial projects, or residential systems. Pay:
$20.00•$25.00 per hour
