Full Job Description Summary:

Pump Utility Operator (formerly All Positions) provides day-to-day assistance to Supervisor/Management in meeting production and quality requirements. Rotates job stations in the Pump department and can effectively and accurately perform all roles within Pump Levels 3 and 4. Understands proper pumping and hanging procedures. Understanding proper pumping and hanging procedures. Responsible for understanding Daily's GMP's and safety policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

include, but are not limited to the following: Equipment set up, Pre-Operational Checklist, select programs, tear down, and adjust settings as needed. Maintains machines at centerline settings and completes all CIL (clean, inspect, and lube) tasks. Understand bacon specification requirements to ensure quality Work at a pace consistent with line speeds Keep accurate records as needed Maintain accurate counts Minimize scrap at all times Follows procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Department Lead Follows Daily's attendance and punctuality rules Follows Daily's Good Manufacturing Processes Follows Daily's Safety Guidelines as outlined in Safety Handbook Effectively and accurately performs all duties within Pump Levels 3 and 4 May rotate job stations within Pump department May be required to assist in other areas based on business need Perform other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Daily's business objectives

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

Previous pallet jack experience preferred Must consistently follow company rules and procedures and ensure consistency with product specifications

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to speak, read, and write basic English to interact with equipment screens, complete reports, and communicate via radio. Must have superior attendance record

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills including ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Capability of working with and calculating percentages

REASONING ABILITY

Able to adhere to specifications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Performs a variety of tasks that require manual material handling and the use of hand tools, knives, hooks, machinery, and equipment Must be willing and able to handle raw product Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift and/or push up to 75 lbs Standing and walking for up to 10 hours a day on concrete and wet surfaces Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Temperature variations - average of 40 degrees. Exposure to noise above 85 dbl (hearing protection required).
