Job Description
Who We're Looking For The Pump Truck Operator 2 is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a pump truck, servicing septic systems, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and in compliance with company and safety regulations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Job Description Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Pump Truck Operator 1 Safely operate a pump truck in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations Locate, access, and service residential and commercial septic systems Accurately complete service documentation, including work orders and inspection reports Identify and differentiate between various types of septic systems Utilize sewer and drain cleaning equipment, including hydro-jetters, drain snakes, and flex shaft machines Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality and cleanliness Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Additional Responsibilities Continue developing skills to meet Pump Truck Operator 3 requirements Assist in training and mentoring Pump Truck Operator 1 employees Support team operations and contribute to a positive work environment Required/Preferred Qualifications Valid CDL Class B license with Tanker endorsement required 1+ year operating a pump truck Strong understanding of septic systems and pumping procedures Ability to operate specialized tools and equipment Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependable, honest, and able to work independently
