Full Job Description Description:
USIRS is looking for Systems Cement Pump Operators in Florida who possess desired skills and experience (outlined below). We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality output /outcomes and regularly demonstrates a professional & positive attitude. Systems Cement Pump Operator is required to have the ability to inspect and repair Allentown Putzmeister, have knowledge of fiber optics, and be able to operate and repair AP/M spin casting sledge and spinner head. Systems Cement Pump Operator will assist in the completion of paperwork including pre-trip inspections and maintaining equipment records as required by Company policy and DOT. Systems Cement Pump Operator must have prior experience working with AP/M spinner and Allentown Putzmeister. Individual must possess excellent internal/external customer service skills. Systems Cement Pump Operator must demonstrate proven leadership and maintain and guarantee the quality, work ethics, and safety standards.Requirements:
Technical degree in fiber/systems engineering or the equivalent in training and/or a minimum of 10 years of work experience demonstrating fiber splicing and Cement work Expert knowledge in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing faults/issues while using splicing and AP/M spin casting sledge and spinner head equipment Ability to pass American Cement Pumping Association (ACPA) test to include but not limited to small line pumps, high-pressure pumps, multiple suction booms, technical section, safety, hand signals, etc. Clean driving record and ability to get a Class B license (Class A license preferred) Punctual and consistent attendance and arrival to work. Ability to work hours necessary to meet client demands. including occasional weekend(s) Mechanical attitude (Repair equipment as needed) Must comply with all safety standards Responsible for upkeep and maintaining company vehicle, inventory, and small tools Must be able to foresee potential issues, provide technical advice, and troubleshoot problems Plan and lead jobs from beginning to end; may require providing work direction and immediate supervision of more junior fiber technicians Spray Cement per design requirements and meet the Company's quality standards with respect to yards per hour in the safest manner Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug tests as required Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required for this roleSimilar remote jobs
