Rhino Pumps is expanding into the Pacific Northwest and we need the person who will build this branch from the ground up. You'll be the first technician on the ground in Kirkland, running the shop, taking field calls, and setting the standard for what comes after you. We're a preferred distributor for industry-leading brands and operate a fully equipped repair shop with custom machining, dynamic balancing, and mechanical and electrical expertise. We serve municipalities, mining, agriculture, and industrial clients across the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest, keeping lift stations running, wet wells clear, and critical systems online.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Rebuild and repair centrifugal, submersible, and turbine pumps in-shop Perform motor teardown, winding assessment, bearing replacement, and megger testing Conduct field diagnosis, installation, and service at customer sites Install mechanical seals in turbine and end suction pumps Laser align and couple motors to pumps per spec Assemble piping and valves according to best practices Operate crane/boom truck for pump and motor lifts as needed Serve municipal lift stations, wet wells, and wastewater systems
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years hands-on pump or motor repair experience, centrifugal and/or submersible Strong mechanical aptitude: you diagnose before you tear down Electric motor experience: megger testing, bearing and seal work Familiarity with municipal wastewater systems, lift stations, or wet wells Works independently without much oversight Leadership instincts: you naturally raise the bar for the people around you Valid driver's license; crane/boom truck or NCCCO certification a plus Communicates clearly with customers and teammates This is not an entry-level position. At least 5 years of related experience required.
