Overview Join our dynamic team as a Septic Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and installing wastewater systems that keep communities running smoothly. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Septic Service Technician to perform septic system repairs, maintenance, and installations. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on field experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can diagnose and complete repairs safely, correctly, and professionally. If you have experience we will start you at the top end of the pay range. If you have an OSM license, we will provide additional compenation. Responsibilities Install and replace septic tank risers, lids, and related components Perform concrete work, including patching, sealing, and repairing septic tanks Repair and reseal septic inlet and mainline connections Repair, reseal, and replace transport and discharge lines Install and replace septic pumps, pump floats, alarm floats, and related components Install and repair discharge piping, check valves, unions, fittings, and connections Troubleshoot basic septic pump, alarm, electrical, and control-panel issues Locate and expose septic tanks, pump chambers, and other system components Perform general septic system repairs and preventive maintenance Test completed work to confirm the system is operating properly Accurately document completed work and communicate any additional concerns Properly backfill excavated areas and leave each job site clean and orderly Operate tools and equipment safely and follow all company procedures Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors Skills Qualifications Previous experience in septic service, plumbing, excavation, wastewater, or a related trade is preferred Experience working with septic pumps and pressure-distribution systems is strongly preferred Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, concrete materials, piping equipment, and excavation machinery Basic understanding of electrical controls, floats, alarms, and pump systems Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem-solving skills Ability to read basic system diagrams and follow repair instructions Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather and job-site conditions Able to work independently while maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship Dependable, hardworking, punctual, and detail-oriented Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Reliable transportation to and from work The successful candidate will be committed to completing dependable repairs, delivering excellent customer service, and representing the company professionally on every job Join us as a Septic Technician if you're eager to contribute your expertise in heavy equipment operation and utility installation while advancing your career in a fast-paced construction environment!
